The raccoon is a medium-sized mammal animal. It is found in North America. Its body shape is 40 to 70 cm in length, around 5 to 26 kg in weight. Its whole-body cover with beautiful underfur and looking so cute. But this cute animal behavior is very disturbing for humans. Its nature is entering into the home and sorting things out, they take out the dirty garbage from the garbage basket and throw it around. That’s why people try to get rid of Raccoon. As a result, people use different types of chemicals, traps, sound systems to get rid of Raccoon.

They realize that it is useless to open the trash box.

Remove Food Sources

It is a common thing that if you left anything in your yard some hungry animals always wander around looking for food. Raccoon also likes that type of animal which is wandering here and there for food. If you left that means you invite Raccoon passively.

Raccoon Proof Your Bird Feeders

Fancy people installed bird feeders in their garden to welcome the birds and increase the garden’s beauty. But sometimes these bird feeders are not secure. Raccoon is an intelligent animal. It can easily open the bird feeders and eat them. So, try to install that bird feeder which is modern and secure, and get rid of Raccoon.

Seal off Your Chimney

Yeah, it is also a surprising thing that Raccoon tries to build their nest in the chimney. And it is a common reason. For this seal of the chimney but before seal off it check if there any Raccoons already have built a nest. If the chimney is empty then you can seal off it safely.

Spray Garlic Juice

Raccoon hates the garlic scent; they can’t tolerate this smell. So, garlic can be effective to get rid of Raccoon. Don’t worry Raccoons are not vampires, they are inoffensive but spoil your property. You can also try this trick that plants garlic bulbs.

Epsom Salt Is the Best for Your Yard

Epsom Salt is another demon for Raccoon. This salt is also useful for gardens as fertilizer. This item is not appropriate inside the home but effective to drive away Raccoons. This salt use in the food bin or garbage can.
