Adding some personal touches to your student room.

So you have found the perfect Cheltenham Student Accommodation for your time at the local university or college and have packed all of your belongings ready to move in, you might want to think about some personal touches that will make you feel more at home and bring out some of your personality. In most accommodations for students, you will be given a bed and some bedroom storage as well as furniture for communal areas, but as each year the students staying in these homes will differ you can find that they are decorated in standard colours and may not reflect your personality.

Here are a few things that you can add to your space to make it feel more like yours.

Pictures – photographs and pictures of your family and friends instantly make space feel more like yours. You must check whether you are allowed to put pictures up on the walls or whether you just need to place these in some beautiful picture frames on your desk space.

Soft furnishings – now whilst you probably won’t want to go out and buy your own curtains for the room you might want to think about cushions, pillows, and blankets, and throws. These instantly bring colour to any room and are a low-cost way of putting your personality into space. You may even have a beloved blanket from your childhood that you might want to bring with you to make you feel more connected to your family whilst you are away at university.

There are many other ways that you can brighten up your student environment but the above two are relatively cheap which is perfect for the student on a budget.
