Residential cleaning or cleaning of private homes little changes. What matters most is how to keep the clubs bright even in the “dirtiest” seasons of the year. One of the most classic questions is “How to keep the house clean even in autumn and winter”? Whether it is residential cleaning or cleaning private homes, the problems run after each other, and in the end, they are always the same. Here are four tips to detect how clean is your house in autumn and winter, “dirtier” seasons than the first two of the year.

How clean is your house?

1) Right products

Not all detergents are the same and choosing the one that best suits the surface and the type of dirt certainly helps to facilitate proper cleaning. Avoid products with a high percentage of soaps as they tend to form a patina on the surface (for example, on floors), highlighting halos and fingerprints. It is also important, before washing, to wipe with a dust-catching cloth, the vacuum cleaner or the broom, and only then the cleaner.

Some products are all-in-one products that wash, polish, and protect, but they work well when the house isn’t overly dirty. Specific sprays or liquids are depending on the type of surfaces and stains present. Wood must be treated with detergents designed to treat the material, but the same applies to plastic laminates, marble, stone, and masonry. Therefore, each stain has its product! Remember that you can also use things you have available at home: lemon, alcohol.

2) Clean and tidy up often

It might seem trivial and obvious, but in reality, it is not. Cleaning and tidying often is a good way to have the perfect home even in the coldest and rainy seasons, where humidity can generate mold and unpleasant odors and shoes are certainly not the cleanest of the year.

By dedicating a few minutes a day to household chores, such as cleaning and tidying up clothes, materials, and so on, you can get amazing results. Less effort is made and the effect is guaranteed: a little daily cleaning is better than a big one every two months. Therefore, the advice is to put away any coats, umbrellas, dirty clothes to wash as soon as possible, finding a location for them to prevent them from being accumulated or scattered around the apartment.

A handheld vacuum cleaner passed immediately after lunch on the table or the ground, or a broom and a floor cleaner to be used every afternoon if necessary. Avoid accumulating accumulations of dust, giving the feeling of a cleaner environment. The same goes for the bathroom too.

The cleaning of private homes or residential complexes is also evaluated in outdoor spaces: a garden, a porch, a gazebo, or a veranda are undoubtedly elements of beautification of the environment and contribute to giving added value to the properties long as they are maintained.

3) The cuisine: special observation

The kitchen is usually the place where more than others, the disorder leaps to the eye: it is a work environment, of passage, in which one moves and acts. The more tidy and clean it is, the better it cooks and saves time. A precious tip for cooking while keeping order is to prepare the ingredients in time.

As TV cooking programs teach, it is useful to prepare the lines, that is, to prepare everything necessary for the recipe of a specific dish. In this way, you avoid wasting precious time looking for ingredients between cabinets and drawers, extracting unnecessary things, and that risk remaining leaning and scattered around the kitchen.

When the dishes get dirty, it is best to immediately place them in the dishwasher to have a greater sense of order: the “I do it later” rule does not pay and helps create even more disorder.

4) Apply grandma’s advice and logic to have a perfect home

Cleanliness and order often go hand in hand and there are small tricks to create the conditions for having a home in place. The bedroom is one of the key areas. It is more difficult to open the windows in winter by letting sheets, blankets, and mattresses take in the air.

To give the bed new air, you can wipe with a cloth moistened with lavender-flavored water and then wipe with a sponge cloth: the mattress is invigorated and perfumes the entire room. Another tip is to wash the curtains around the beginning of October to have new freshness in the autumn-winter period.

This is also valid advice for residential cleaning, where there may be shared common areas. For cleaning private homes, it is nice to involve the family in the preparation and planning of the tasks, even if a cleaning company does the work, which must then be maintained.
