How to remove rust stains from the plastic tub?

Rust stains can become real headaches and are that not only appear on metal surfaces but also clothing, floors, or plastics. Step 1

Remove shower curtains, carpets, and bath towels before cleaning the bathtub. Approved rust spot cleaners often dye fabrics.

Step 2

Fill a spray bottle with an approved bath cleaner to treat rust spots. Gently spray the walls of the tub and shower so that all surfaces are covered with the bath cleaner.

Step 3

Allow the product to sit on the stains for 10 to 15 minutes. Most times the product foam will begin to oxidize as you remove the stain from the plastic.

Step 4

Rub gently and slowly over the rust spots in a circular manner with a soft bristle brush. Wipe with a paper towel or a soft cleaning towel.

Step 1

Rust in plastic or PVC
